Abhineet Gupta
About me
I am Abhineet hailing from India. My complete name is Abhineet Gupta. I was born 25 years ago, in Muzaffarnagar, a small district in western UP.
I have always been motivated to study and learn science, both its fundamental principles as well as its application. Having acquired a sound understanding in mathematics and physical sciences, I was motivated to take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT). I was ranked in the top 0.5% of the nearly 0.35 million students who took the examination. I finished his undergraduate studies from the aerospace engineering department of IIT Kanpur in the May of 2011.
Though I had two job offers before completing the undergraduate studies, I decided to opt for graduate studies at TU Delft. I graduated with Honours from the aerospace engineering Department of TU Delft in 2013. With a background in aerospace engineering, I have a broad interest in fluid mechanics and fluid physics. I joined TU Eindhoven as a Shell computational science PhD researcher in August, 2013.
